About this pipe
Our PVC-U pressure pipe is made to SANS 966 Part 1 with design stresses of 10 MPa (20–90 mm) and 12.5 MPa (110–250 mm). It suits both pumping and gravity designs.
Every pipe gives an effective length of 6 metres. Outside diameters stay the same across all six pressure classes of a size, so fittings and couplers work whichever class you choose.

- Effective length 6.0 m. Outside diameter is the same for every class of a size.
- Wall thickness for 20–90 mm is based on a design stress of 10 MPa (safety factor 2.5).
- Wall thickness for 110–250 mm is based on a design stress of 12.5 MPa (safety factor 2.0).
